The Good Earth Lighting SE1095-BP2-02LF0-G LED security light projects a bright 3,317 total lumens with a 240 degree motion detection angle and up to a 100 foot range of protection. You can choose to set this LED security light to either the Area Light or Security Motion Light setting. Decide if the area light (at lower brightness) is to be activated at dusk. Locate the right control knob and set it to the desired quantity of time the area light is on. Moving the setting to Dusk To Dawn turns the area light on from sunset to sunrise. The motion sensor on this fixture uses the built in Dusk-to-Dawn sensor to automatically disable the motion sensor during daylight hours regardless of motion detection.
The specially designed, heavy duty die-cast aluminum housing, has a satin bronze finish and allows you to either wall mount, eave mount or surface box mount the fixture. The sensor head is adjustable, but, the position of the sensor head should not exceed 45 degrees from horizontal. Select the installation location carefully. Do not install in areas having pedestrian or motorized traffic, pools or bodies of water, or trees/bushes that move in the wind. All of these may trigger the motion sensor security light and may be disruptive to the intended operation of the light. Do NOT install near other sources of light, as this can fool the Dusk-to-Dawn sensor into thinking it is daylight.
This 3-Head LED Motion-Activated Flood Light utilizes efficient LED technology that has a rated life of 50,000 hours (that's an estimated life of over 20 years based on 3 hours of operation per day) and provides brighter light than traditional halogen light sources. The lens is diamond pattern finish and is impact-resistant. The adjustable motion sensor provides up to 240° coverage and 100 feet of downward perimeter protection. The long life LEDs deliver a 5000K color of 70 CRI light output and the complete fixture is ETL approved.
Do NOT use this fixture with a dimming circuit. If dimmer controls are present, remove them and replace them with regular electrical switches. If a three way dimmer is present, replace it with a regular three way switch. If you are unfamiliar with electrical installations, it is recommended a qualified electrician do the installation. If you are unsure if the electrical box is properly grounded, or the box is plastic and has no ground wire, or you are unfamiliar with the methods of properly grounding this security light fixture, consult a qualified electrician.
