Options for LED recessed lighting fixtures, whether installing canless wafer light kits or retrofitting your current can lights, have grown rapidly. Canless wafer LED light kits can be used for remodel or new construction LED recessed ceiling downlight projects. LED retrofit downlights are installed utilizing your existing recessed can housing.

The MaxLite RCF822CSW (14099881) is color selectable and can switch between 3000K Warm White, 3500K Bright White, and 4000K Cool White with a CCT selection switch located on top of the fixture. This LED downlight operates on the universal voltage of 120-277V and consumes just 22 watts while generating 2120 delivered lumens (or 97 Lumens Per Watt) and has a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 80. The 8 inch LED downlight fixture offers out-of-the-box dimming compatibility using TRIAC controls, on the 120V only, and is suitable for damp locations.

Instant on at full brightness and mercury free - environmentally positive - generates no IR or UV - protects valuable objects - these 8 inch recessed can retrofit LED fixtures are rated for 50,000 hours based on the L70 Standard. Typical applications for the downlight retrofit fixtures include commercial atriums, soffits, living room, and general decorative indoor lighting in residential, office, retail, restaurant, school, hospital and hotel/motel locations.
