This coating creates a protective envelop in the chance that the tube light breaks, all breakage will be contained within the coating. This is what makes these tubes suitable for production of food applications.
The L9T8DE2(XX)-CG4, 9 watt instant on LED tube light has been designed to retrofit existing linear fluorescent T8/T12 installations, thereby reducing maintenance and energy expenditures in residential, commercial, retail displays, hotel, motel and resort applications and as an energy saving light source for new fixtures and installations. These T8 LED bulbs have an operating temperature range of -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Please NOTE: When retrofitting these LED tube lights to a fluorescent fixture, the ballast must be by-passed or removed from the fixture.
