This item is the Red colored, 2 piece pack, remote control ready, unscented wax that has been dipped in 100% paraffin wax, Taper Candle. Each Torchier LED moving flame taper candle operates on two AA alkaline batteries (Not Included). Battery life averages 150 hours.
You have the option to either manually turn the candle on or off, or, you may set the timer function (the timer function is 5 hours on and 19 hours off). The timer function is very easy to activate. Let's say that you would like the candle to turn on every day at 7:00 pm and turn off at 12:00 midnight (a 5 hour block as described above). At 7:00 pm, the very first day only, turn the candle ON by pushing the power button, on the bottom of the candle, one time. Now that the candle is on, push and hold the power button for 3 to 5 seconds until the flame light blinks - indicating that the timer is set. Release the power button. You have now set the candle to turn on EVERY day at 7:00 pm and turn off at 12:00 midnight. No need to touch the candle again. The timer cycle will repeat daily until you choose to reset the candle. Simply press the power button one time to turn the candle OFF. Feel free to switch back and forth between the on/off and timer functions. Simply activate the timer again (from the steps above) and your candle will be back to timer mode. Every Bethlehem Lights Torchier moving flame candle is covered by a 90 day limited warranty.
