Founded in 1966, Satco is well known as the premier supplier of a variety of lighting products. Now, Satco is introducing Dual Mode 6 Inch LED U-Bend Lamps! These U-Bends can be used with our without an existing fluorescent ballast. If using in a Type A (Ballast Compatible) application, please refer to the compatibility chart below. If using these in a Type B (Ballast Bypass) application, you must first bypass your existing fluorescent ballast.
The Satco 13T8U6/LED/22.5-8(XX)/DUAL will produce between 1,900-2,000 Lumens of light output (that's an awesome 146 Lumens Per Watt). They have a frosted lens, CRI of 83 and a rated life of up to 50,000 hours. The physical dimensions of the Satco Dual Mode LED 6" U Bend are 22.5 inch long by 1.1 inch in diameter (note: the U-bend leg spacing measures 6 inch). Each Satco S11970 LED fluorescent retrofit bulb carries a 5 Year Warranty.
This DLC Listed LED Dual Mode U-bend lamp has two G13 medium bi-pin bases which easily integrates energy saving LED technology into your standard recessed fluorescent troffers or industrial fluorescent lighting format. Satco's LED T8 u-bend tubes CAN eliminate the need to remove or bi-pass your existing ballast but can also work by bypassing your ballast.
This light consumes just 13 watts of 120-277V and is equivalent to a 31 watt fluorescent bulb and has been designed to retrofit existing linear fluorescent T8 installations, thereby reducing maintenance and energy expenditures in residential, commercial, retail displays, hotel, motel and resort applications and as an energy saving light source for new fixtures and installations. These U-Bend LED bulbs are rated for use in either dry or damp locations, have an operating temperature range of -4 degrees Fahrenheit to 113 degrees Fahrenheit and are NSF Certified, making them safe to use in food service applications.
