This GM Lighting LTR-E Economical Series LED Tape, part number LTR-E-12V-1.5W-(XX)K-(XX), has 18 LED diodes per foot and provides 1.5 watts of power. For optimum results, LED tape lighting connectors and power supplies must be purchased in addition. The LTR-E is suitable for indoor use only; for wet locations, see the LTR-P-WP series. The tape is pre-fitted with 3M mounting tape and can be cut every 2 inches for ease of installation. Coming with a 5-year warranty when paired with a GM Lighting power supply, it is the perfect choice for the project.
The LTR-E-12V-1.5W-(XX)K-(XX) requires a power supply (sold separately), with the most common options being the LD-MD-UNV60 and the LD-MDUNV150-12, both of which feature the smallest dimmable Class II hardwire LED dimming magnetic power supply available. These power supplies are equipped with an auto reset thermal circuit breaker, 120V 60Hz input circuits, and are ETL listed for indoor/outdoor use. For a non-dimmable option, the most popular power supply is the 60 watt LTP-6, featuring a 126" long 2-prong cord and plug with an inline on/off switch.
